About me

I’m from Ngati Raukawa e Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti, and grew up much of my life in Australia. I am a business owner, a women’s identity coach and a big-picture strategic thinker.

I work with women to help them understand how to reclaim their identity and start being the leader of their lives. I support women to understand the strength of communication, the strategy of using language to affirm who they choose to be. This includes the stories they tell themselves and the stories they tell others about who they are. Both play important roles in how they show up and present themselves in the world.

What does reclaiming your Identity even mean?

Let's talk about how you see yourself.

We grow up with many labels and expectations of who we are meant to be. Those labels and expectations continue throughout our life. As a woman, in our work, in our profession, as a care giver... each time we adopt someone else's perception of who we are. Reclaiming who you truly are, comes with asking yourself what you actually think, what you actually like, how you actually choose to dress, whether or not your doing the things that bring you joy and happiness.

The way you communicate with others about who you are, is just as important as how you communicate with yourself.

When you carry the labels and perceptions of others, you project that out. You behave in certain ways, ways that are considered 'acceptable' and are expected, and you water down who you truly are. At some stage you accept that this is how you are meant to be and you adapt ourselves to fit. The stories that you tell yourself become your beliefs, and those stories can be masks of who you are meant to be or limit you from what you are truly capable of.

Reclaiming your identity looks different for everyone, and with that in mind, I'm here to help you find out exactly what that is for you.
